Red Roof Inn Defuniak Springs

The young lady who owns or runs this hotel is awesome. Professional, friendly and very welcoming. My room is clean, the bed is comfy and everything in the room works. I went to the lobby to microwave my lunch, and the lady who checked me in was there. She remembered me and my room number and not long after that housekeeping knocked on my door to deliver a microwave. Great price and excellent service. I use about 200 motel rooms every year. I am definitely returning whenever I am in this area.

After reading the comments I decided to post mine since none of the comments are newest. From the start of the reservation to check out a never had any problems everybody was nice and polite ( 2 days stay ). Room was 2 full bed size but can be mistaking by queen depends of whoever wants to criticize, non smokers and no pets that’s what I choose. Towels and sheets were clean. Room was super clean. Remember this is a hotel to spend a night if you want a 5 star hotel you should go to a 5 star hotel, not ask a 2 or 3 star hotel to accommodate you for a 5 star hotel. Awesome place to stay after a long day. This is my every year stop to destin beach for 2 days, then continue to Miami.

Convenient and great value with helpful and friendly front desk employee. Room was clean and nicely designed (with fridge and microwave); but there were many signs of items in need of repair, and some additional maintenance would raise the overall appearance significantly. Also, the wall with the door did not block outside sounds much, so every time a car door would shut our dog jumped.

I'm happy with the room. One issue is our toilet seat is broke so when I sat down I slid to the side and almost bit the tub. You would think that the house keeper would see that the seat was broke if she cleaned the toilet they way she's supposed to clean. There is pee all around the plastic nut that's meant to hold the seat in place. Wow talk about not taking pride in the company you work for. Do good, feel good and just maybe there might be a tip in it. Until then bad reviews and no tips.

The place needs some work but it was well placed and clean. The people were very friendly. I would gladly stay again.

I want to give a 5 star but can't. Housekeeping did it. They are the worst! The office and management run a tight ship. There's always someone checking the area, very polite yet professional. They are there 24/7. The rooms are VERY clean and comfortable. It's very quiet. Housekeeping on the other hand.... VERY rude, no masks even around guests, smoking non stop while "cleaning", never enough time to get guests taken care of. Great place except for that. Yes, we'd stay again, in a heartbeat, but hopefully management will replace this cleaning crew by then.

Let me start by saying that I am a truck driver and I sleep in hotels every day. At first, I had no expectations of a red roof hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are incredibly clean, even the towels smell pleasant. And the service is simply fantastic, thank you Red Roof defuniak springs Florida

I'm so glad I chose this hotel. It's scary trying to find a hotel to stay at when your 4 states away from it! With that said we experienced zero horrors here and our four night stay was wonderful! Beds where clean and comfortable. It smelled clean when we walked in. The bathroom was spotless. The AC worked really well! When we arrived it was very late but they greeted me by my name and made us feel at home. Very sweet and helpful.The house keeping crew was very nice and the parking lot was also spotless you can tell they take pride in keeping this place nice. I legitimately have zero complaints.
